Reflections On Writing for a Month

Posted on

I am nearing the end of a month-long blogging challenge. It has been a great opportunity to focus on words and articulation.

Coming up with content on a daily basis has been an exercise in originality. I have been able to practice the process of having an idea and following through in communicating it, which is an important concept for all creators.

Writing is like any other format of expression. To improve takes investment. Stretching my voice by using a clear and consistent schedule has improved my flow and increased my output. In writing for myself I have been forced to think of creative ways to represent myself.

Coming up with content on a daily basis has been an exercise in originality. I am becoming both more confident in my ideas and better at articulating them in writing.

My last post was a piece of copy that I found very useful to write. Just like you can transcribe (imitate) musicians to learn how to improvise music differently, copywriting is a great way to learn new forms and expand your expressive ability. I would like to try more of this and would be happy to do it professionally in some capacity.

Finally, it has been helpful to have more people interacting with my blog and reading my writing. It is validating and enjoyable to share my thoughts and engage with my community.

Thank you for reading! What are your thoughts?

Stay tuned for more.
